With its rich history making it a global culinary hotspot, exploring the multicultural city of Cape Town is an absolute must for any culinary enthusiast.
Our journey starts at Origin Coffee Roasting in De Waterkant where you will meet our fellow foodies for your culinary walk towards our first stop. De Waterkant is a chic area, located underneath Signal Hill, with leafy streets lined with brightly coloured houses, and surrounded by a variety of craft coffee bars and stylish gift shops.

From there, we will head towards the outskirts to the famous multi-coloured homes of Bo-Kaap, known as the Malay Quarter, where you will learn about pre-colonial culinary traditions and enjoy a taste of traditional Cape Malayan dishes.
Next, enjoy your first of three alcohol tastings, paired with two unique food tastings. You will then be escorted to a local German cafe, where you’ll sample craft beers and talk about the German influences in Cape Town.
You will then be introduced to two very traditional South African dishes, Biltong and Boerewors.
At our last stop, the V&A Waterfront, where we end off the tour, you will be treated to a wine and cheese tasting, or a Fynbos sprit with Malva pudding and brandy to round off the tour.
Make sure to prepare yourself for an experience you won’t soon forget!
